What is Mentor Basketball Association about?
For over 20 years, the Mentor Basketball Association (MBA) has provided
an opportunity for boys and girls to learn the game of basketball. Last
year, over 450 children participated.
The MBA has established an excellent reputation over the years for
teaching basketball fundamentals and promoting competitiveness within
the perimeters of good sportsmanship. The majority of the players that
compete in this league continue onto the junior high and varsity levels.
Boys and girls in grades 3 thru 6 are eligible to participate.
Separate leagues for boys and girls are established. Practices start in
November and are held at the various elementary schools during the week.
Games are played at the Mentor High gym on Sundays starting in December
and ending in March.
Registrations take place in October.
